ECõS Environmental acquired by Derwentside Environmental Testing Services.

Derwentside Environmental Testing Services (DETS) is pleased to announce the acquisition of ECõS Environmental from Vinci PLC with effect from the 15th December 2008.

Formed in 1994 ECõS Environmental Limited was acquired in 1997 by Norwest Holst Soil Engineering Limited to provide essential analytical chemistry services to complement its contaminated land investigation operations in the UK.

The acquisition of ECõS Environmental sees DETS strengthen its position in the UK market as a leading independent laboratory offering a wide range of analytical services.

ECõS Environmental, based in Bradford will compliment the two existing MCERTS laboratories based in Consett and Coventry and will help to deliver more analytical services to our customers.
